The team at Bedford opted for a vibrant and calming Tropical theme for their LED Sky Ceiling panel array. Like many NHS waiting areas, this space is completly void of external windows. This new expansive portal to nature has completly transformed the space, acting as a calming distraction for children and anxious parents alike.

MOUNTING

Lay-in type ceiling grid (24mm T-bar) suitable for 600mm x 600mm ceiling tiles. LC6060 LED Sky Ceiling panels are designed to rest neatly onto 24mm or 15mm ceiling grid profiles. Additional hanging supports were added to the grid as reinforcement. As standard, each panel was supplied with independent safety cables.

CONTROL

Standard on/off operation. The Hospital's Contractor connected the multi-lead plug-and-play LED Driver that powers the panels to an on/off wall switch, separate to the main functional lighting in the room, so that the panels could controlled independently, as needed.
